The Learning Portal is excited to announce that our web development team has successfully installed state-of-the-art chat software within our private learning portal, designed to help students stay connected with their peers and teachers in a safe, organized, and user-friendly way.
This new chat system allows students to communicate through group chats tied directly to their individual classrooms. To maintain clarity, safety, and ease of use, students will only see and interact with the classmates and teachers assigned to their specific classroom. This structure helps keep conversations focused, familiar, and supportive—allowing students to collaborate and engage with people they already know and learn alongside.
Once logged into the student dashboard, members will notice the chat bar turn red, indicating that the chat feature is active and ready to use. From there, students can join approved group discussions, participate in classroom conversations, and stay engaged with their learning community.
As of the date this article is published, the current available chatrooms include:
- Academy Hangout – A welcoming space for general conversation and community interaction
- The Study Nest – A focused environment for academic discussion, study support, and collaboration
This new chat feature is part of the Learning Portal ongoing commitment to building a connected, engaging, and supportive private learning environment for our private communities.
